James Spader was announced as the right guy to play a self-aware android supervillian Ultron by Marvel in a recent meeting. During the last Comic-Con, writer and director Joss Whedon spilled a spoiler stating that the Avengers 2 will be called Avengers: Age of Ultron. Just to refresh your brain on who this guy is, James Spader played an Egyptologist Daniel Jackson in Stargate. He’s also had breakthroughs in Supernova, Pretty in Pink, Lies and videotapes, Less Than Zero and s3x.
Ultron in his quest for power will drop in on Earth and then attract Iron Man, Thor, Russian Spy, Hulk and Captain America. Thus, leading to what will seem as an endless battle.
Joss Whedon speaks about reshaping Ultron from his usual appearance in comics, making him tougher and at the same time, more human.
Truth be told; I don't really care who plays who..all I want is an awesome movie at the end.
