Oxford Dictionary To Add The Term “Twerking” into their Dictionary.

Gone are those days when “Rubber legs” or “Yahoozy” were in vogue as Twerking is now put into everyone’s knowledge. Twerking has taken its role from Miley to Amber Rose..Among others and now, the term is dancing its way into the dictionary.

On Wednesday being the 28th of August, Oxford Dictionaries publicly announced that the dance move would be discovered in their future publications as a verb. One would assume that Miley too would be added in the definition but you assumed wrong, she won’t be. Oxford found a meaning to it as “dancing to a popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting the hip’s movements and achieving a low squatting stance”

Look on the brighter side, the term wasn’t the only thing added to their dictionaries as words like Pixie cut(Thanks to Beyoncé?), Squee, Emojis, Selfies, Fauxhawk, Jorts and Geek chic would also be found.
