A memorial was held in honor of the deceased, Lee Thompson Young, yesterday. It was a private memorial which took place at the Paramount Lot in Hollywood around 11am on Friday. Lee’s parent requested for donations made to the Young storytellers Foundation instead of the usual flowers.

Most people wore white including the dancers and performers in respect to Young’s Ifa practice. His co-stars also shared some of their best moments with Lee.
“Everyone there was celebrating his life which is what he would have wanted; He wanted everyone to come together and be a big family, so that is what we did. We came together to celebrate him and his life”- a friend of the deceased.
