WizKid Announces New Date For His Amsterdam Concert

 

The "Azonto" singer has postponed his Amsterdam concert which was supposedly to take place on the 31st of August, 2013. The singer took to instagram where he revealed the new date as the 14th of September, 2013 and he also added an apology note to it, I quote “Amsterdam! I’m so sorry but I promise u this is for a better show! I promise u guys the best show ever”.

You know how they say; Teachers are the building blocks. Well, in this case, I fear it's the reverse. The Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole paid an unscheduled visit to the State Staff Training Centre regarding the newly enacted constitution "Verification of certificates of primary school teachers in the southern Nigerian state of Edo" and it has begun to yield startling results, with the discovery of a female teacher who could not read a sworn affidavit tendered with her documents.

Armed bandits were on the prowl again in Benin-City, Edo State capital. They abducted human rights activist and lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN). Four officers of the Edo Police Command were killed in a gun duel with the kidnappers that ensued in an attempt to rescue Ozekhome.
It has been learnt Ozekhome was kidnapped together with his driver. Their abduction occurred barely 48 hours after the state police command paraded 44 suspected kidnappers in Benin-City.

Narrating the development to newsmen, the state's Commissioner of Police Foluso Adebanjo said, "Operatives of the command led by DPO Ehor Division responded swiftly to a distress call at about 3:30 pm that unspecified number of armed men had blocked the Benin-Auchi road by Ehor axis. But on their way, the hoodlums ambushed the police patrol vehicle and opened fire on them, prompting an exchange of fire.
